SPC ProVital steps up to champion aged care workers

SPC ProVital, a longtime trusted brand in aged care thanks to its combination of award-winning, easy-open portion control packaging and high quality fruit ingredients, has stepped up to champion workers in this challenging environment.

Running from 4 to 25 October, the SPC ProVital Aged Care Angels campaign asks people to nominate an outstanding worker from residential aged care or community home care – including those working on the foodservice side of the operation, such as chefs, hospitality services managers, café staff, meal attendants and wait staff.

Those nominated will have the chance to win one of 10 grand prize packs valued at $725 each, including a $500 Visa gift card, a fortnight’s worth of ready made meals from the Good Meal Co, and an SPC hamper. Each person who nominated the winners also receives a $50 gift card.

There are also 10 Level 2 prize packs valued at $300 each and a morning tea valued at $250 to be won (with the latter hosted at the winner’s aged care facility).

One grand prize winner will be selected to be featured in an article on SPC media partner HelloCare’s online aged care media platform at www.hellocare.com.au.

“We feel it is important to acknowledge these frontline staff who make a positive impact in older people’s lives,” says Maria Naughton, Senior Brand Manager of Functional Foods at SPC.

“Australia’s aged care workforce is continually asked to achieve more with less, and they do so with very little fanfare. Aged Care Angels is all about rewarding these people and raising the profile of what they do.”

Visit www.agedcareangels.com.au for more information or to submit a nomination.
