FSAA announces 2025 Board of Directors, new name and look
/Foodservice Association Australia (FSAA) is proud to announce our 2025 Board of Directors, marking another milestone in our commitment to strengthening and supporting the foodservice industry across Australia.
Returning to the Board for another term are:
Ken Hartley (Chairperson) – Raptis Group

Lindsay Yeomans (Treasurer) – The Armory
Barton Beverley Smith – Primo Foods
Victoria Landells – Anchor Food Professional
Kristina Czepl – Nestlé Professional

We farewell and extend our thanks to retiring Board members David White (DKSH), Jeff Dhu (Countywide) and Andrew Low (Ordermentum), whose contributions have significantly shaped FSAA’s progress.
We also welcome two outstanding additions to our Board:
John Hart OAM, National President of Restaurant & Catering Australia, brings unmatched expertise and leadership to the pivotal role of FSAA Chair of Advocacy and Policy. With over 30 years of experience in tourism and hospitality, including operational, HR and industrial relations, John will spearhead efforts to influence critical industry policies, champion workforce development and drive meaningful change to secure the future of foodservice in Australia. His appointment is a game-changer for the FSAA, positioning the association as the strongest and most effective voice for the industry.
Raelene Smethurst, General Manager Ordermentum, whose work with industry data and insights will strengthen FSAA’s initiatives and further benefit the membership by extracting actionable information for foodservice.
Key leadership roles in our advocacy efforts for 2025 include:
Eugene Visione, Chair of Sustainability, will drive critical programs to foster environmentally responsible practices as well as identifying solutions to government mandated plastic bans.
John Hart OAM, Chair of Policy and Advocacy, is a well-recognised and respected advocate within Canberra, known for his tireless efforts in driving meaningful change for the tourism and hospitality sectors. His leadership has been instrumental in shaping policies that address the industry's most pressing challenges, from workforce development to regulatory reform.
As FSAA's Chair of Policy and Advocacy, John will leverage his extensive experience and influence to deepen our engagement with policymakers and industry stakeholders. His proven track record of building strong government and industry relationships will ensure the voice of the foodservice sector is heard and its needs addressed at the highest levels.

Additionally, our remit has been enhanced to include advocacy, solidifying our position as the voice for the foodservice sector. Our new branding underscores our commitment to fostering collaboration, driving innovation and championing the interests of the entire foodservice community.
