Luna ‘ready to bake’ croissant
/The Luna, a new lower-cost ‘ready to bake croissant, has been introduced by specialist bakery manufacturer Bakers Maison.
The new product will join the Bakers Maison product range as a sub-brand and is manufactured in Revesby, Sydney. It is snap-frozen in its ready-to-bake state, which can be easily shipped anywhere in Australia.
“We’ve invested in the most up-to-date equipment to produce our range of croissants which roll off our production line every day. They are distributed around Australia to be enjoyed in cafes and restaurants, at catered events, from food delivery services and more,” said Bakers Maison general manager Pascal Chaneliere.
“We chose the name Luna, meaning moon, which aligns nicely with ‘croissant’, a word that means crescent. Luna was developed by our product development team to offer a lower price than our premium croissants, which we’ve achieved by sourcing economical natural ingredients.”
Bakers Maison’s croissant range also includes other new croissants which are filled with almond or hazelnut and fully baked and are available to the foodservice sector via an extensive distribution network.
Bakers Maison uses traditional French recipes and mostly Australian ingredients, specialising in French-style breads, pastries and sweets.
