Detroit Style Smoked Ham Hock & Green Pea Pizza
/Packed full of flavour, topped off with Perfect Italiano Shredded Mozzarella for that extra stretch.
METHOD
Roll out pizza dough into a loose rectangle shape and shape/press into a rectangle tray 270mm x 325mm
Evenly spread tomato sugo onto base, followed by Perfect Italiano Shredded Mozarella
Sprinkle crushed peas over mozzarella
Add pulled pork hock pieces
Bake in pizza oven until base is crisp on the bottom and mozzarella is golden and blistered
Remove from the oven and drizzle with olive oil, sea salt and cracked pepper
Style into large rustic style slices

600g pizza dough
80ml tomato sugo
150g Perfect Italiano Shredded Mozzarella
100g green peas, blanched, chilled and loosely crushed
150g smoked ham hock, simmered until soft, loosely pulled apart
GARNISH
Drizzle of olive oil
Flaked sea salt & cracked pepper to taste
