AUSTRALIAN YOUTH TEAM TO REPRESENT AT THE INTERNATIONAL CULINARY OLYMPICS

Australia’s top national young chef talent are gearing up to compete in the world’s oldest, largest and most diverse international exhibition of culinary arts, the IKA/Culinary Olympics. 

The six-strong team line-up comprises young chefs who have demonstrated dedication to their culinary advancement and a strong commitment to represent Australia on the world stage. All team members are award-winning junior chefs at a state, national and international level, including competing in the Nestlé Golden Chef’s Hat Award as a pre-selection requirement.

Youth Team Australia will compete against 24 countries with the opportunity to demonstrate their talent and potential to an audience of over 30,000 visitors from across the globe.

It’s an intense three-years of training for our national culinary youth team as they strive for perfection and precision across each and every plate. The 25th edition of the IKA/Culinary Olympics will be held in Stuttgart for the first-ever time, 14-19th February 2020, where the Australian Youth Team six will be amongst 2,000 competing chefs.
